Hello Everybody.
Things in the Youth Dept. are taking a turn for the good, I wish I could tell you exactly whats going on other than God working in the Youth and seeing some of the teenagers getting serious in serving Christ. We are having at least 2-3 visitors every Wednesday Night and the group is expanding. It was a joy to lead one of our students to Jesus during the service. You will all see her getting baptized shortly.
Not only at the church here; but also more are coming to the Pell City high school First Priority Bible Club meeting, which is held on Thursday morning at 7:15 AM before school starts. We are averaging around 60 - 70 Students each week. God is moving and people are listening. It would be well to note, the principal has told us if we get about 50 more to come we can start to using the CEPA building. All students are welcomed.
I guess a question for you is: ARE YOU LISTENING? Don't get too hardheaded and stubborn that you miss out on being used by God. Sometimes the best way to fight is simply to give up.
The Youth Group is going to be busy for the couple of months. We have bonfires;Joint Services with other groups, paintball and our Christmas Drama coming up. So Students, make sure you get a claendar of events to keep up with whats going on and we thank the church for their support.
